Staff hardly speak english, and no one talked to us for 3 days. When we checked in: Not a welcome , no good morning when we went for brakfast and not even a Thank you when we checked out. Next time in Surin we will stay at The Majestic." |

Then later in the stay the phone would not ring to announce incoming all...told reception...they did nothing.As per directions: tries to get an international call to Australia from my room.... 001 61 2 9527 91xx..recored message this service has been temporaly susopended Grrrr.Checkout they tried to charge me for the room: then trlented when I said Sawadee Travel already pay Showers are great: hot with a good pressure. Overall a good place to stay." |

The room rate is very reasonable but I would like to pay a little more to have the room furniture updated. The nightclubs on the backside are always very loud until 2-3 in the morning---and the maid service talking and receiving phone calls in the hall starting at 7:00 makes it difficult to sleep late after going to the nightclubs the night before.The kind staff goes a long way to overcoming the downside to staying here. With competition down the block, it is now time to upgrade. " |

June 1, 2006 by Mr David Davies Visit Date:May 14, 2006 "Was probably the best hotel in Surin but is now becoming shabby and dated.Staff are friendly and efficient, apart from the downstairs restaurant at breakfast( dirty tableclothes and no service whatsoever even though there are several staff members standing around doing nothing). For some unknown reason they insist on cooking large batches of fried eggs and then sit watching whilst they go cold.Can t complain about the tarrif at 900 baht per night however the hotel could do with some improvement." |
