"A simply fabulous and beautiful little boutique hotel!! Stunning vie from the gorgeous pool to some old wat ruins. Would recommend! Only down side is that it s a bit far from restaurants and such."

"We spent three nights at this fantastically relaxing idyllic location. The staff were absolutely top class helping you at every opportunity. The room we inhabited was spacey and functional with all mod cons in addition to historical relics adding a touch of history to the modern style architecture. The swimming pool was small but relaxing and the view of the old temple across the river is dramatically stunning. We would have no hesitation in staying at Iudia again and wish to relay our thanks to owners and staff alike for a meditative and relaxing stay at a great place."

"AMAZING PLACE! A gem in the ancient city. Small and very new reort with very nice owner. Rooms and faciltiy are 5-star with INCREDIBLE day/night views of Thai temple across river. The view from our room and from the pool was awesome. Resort is beautiful w/ mix of Thai/Arabic modern design. Great location, nice breakfast, free bicycle use, awesome place!"

"Small boutique hotel. We found the style of the rooms took some getting used to. There was nowhere to hang a wardrobe style case and no door to the bathroom, just a curtain. The room was comfortable and the traffic noise from the main road was not as bad as expected. View out across the river was spectacular at night.Staff friendly and helpful but restaurant facilities were limited."

"by far one of the best places to stay in thailand.very very well run family buisness with only 7 rooms.beautiful out look over the river with very nice pool and romantic outlook over the river. a must place to go will be back next year for a longer stay."

"Small scale hotel, very friendly staff, quiet and relaxing (pool, view on the temple at other side of river). If your budget allows, consider booking one of the two top floor deluxe rooms: unbelievable architecture, very luxurious decor. For excursions: let the hotel staff arrange for a car with driver for you, very reasonably priced service, also for transfers to your next destination."

"Marvelously relaxing. A great retreat during the heat of the day. The pool overlooks the ruins across the river and is a great place to enjoy a poolside lunch. The staff is extremely helpful in arranging transport throughout the city. The room was very comfortable. If you have a late check-out you may use the shower even if you have checked out of the room."

"Iudia On The River and its staff was a highlite of our trip to Thailand. We did not expect to have such a wonderful accomodation and care as was provided to us on our journey through Thailand. As a very discerning indivdual, I was so pleased to be treated with incredible kindess and care in a lovely environment, excellent room, and views that took my breath away. Not only were our days there wonderful; additional, the bicycles provided for our day touring were in excellent condition. Most importantly, the staff was attentive and went way out of their way to accomodate our every need. I am unaware of the stars provided this venue, but I personally give it 5 even though it does not have some of the amenities attached to 5 star hotels. We are told that it soon will have those, since it is a very newly opened hotel. Go! Go! You will not be disappointed."
